An Hour or Two in Darlington

On February 15th I decided to visit the Town Darlington, Located in the North East of England not far from Durham. My main aims was to Photo the S-KHN and the R-COO Darts as their Sisters used to be based in the North West but i also wanted to get photos of the MAN Eco Citys and the Sapphire Pulsars Arriva have introduced over the last 12 Months.

As you can tell this Blog Post is going to be full of Photos so i will split the Post up so you can find the Photos Easier.

First i will start with the S-KHN Plaxton Pointer 1's, There are at total of 10 based at Darlington Depot and i was able to Photo Five of them being:

1611 - S611 KHN on route 13B

1612 - S612 KHN on route 13B

1618 - S618 KHN on route 13A

1637 - S637 KHN on route 13A

1639 - S639 KHN on route X66

There are Five R-COO Plaxton Pointer 1's Based at Darlington Depot and i was able to Photo Two of them being:

1647 - R422 COO on route 75

1650 - R425 COO on route 2

Next i started to look at the MAN Eco Citys, There are Eleven Currently Based at Darlington Depot and i was able to Photo  Four of them being:

4802 - NK13 CFE on route 11

4803 - NK13 CFF on route 11

4804 - NK13 CFG on route 2

4810 - NK13 CFP on route 2

Next i moved onto the Sapphire Pulsars, There are Currently Nine based at Darlington Depot and i was able to Photo Three of them being:

1513 NL63 VRG on route 7

1515 NL63 VRK Sorry Not in Service

1518 NL63 VRO on route 7

the Next set of Buses that took my eye was the Scaina Omnicitys that are for Prime use on the X66 Service, There are Currently Five Allocated to Darlington Depot and i was able to Photo Two of them being:

4644 - CX05 EOW on route X66

4645 - CX05 EOY in Darlington

From full sized Buses to Mini Pointer Darts, Currently in reserve at Darlington Depot is MPD Dart V712 DNL but i was able to get a Photo of it out in service on route 14

I really Enjoyed taking Photos in Darlington, there was a nice mixture of Different Types of Buses! I am already planning my next trip down to Darlington, Hopefully i will enjoy the Scond trip as much as i enjoyed the First!
