Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire strikes gold with investment of 7 new buses for routes 471/472

Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire have invested £4 million pound in new vehicles for the region of which 7 vehicles have been purchased for routes 471/472 between Liverpool - Heswall and onwards towards Barnston (472 PM peak journeys).


Stagecoach Gold specification Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC buses have been introduced with hand-stitched Italian-designed leather seats, wood effect flooring, Euro 6 emissions compliant engines complete with stop/start technology to help cut exhaust gas emissions, free WiFi, at seat LED lighting and USB plug sockets to charge mobile phones and tablets whilst on the go as part of a modern and fresh interior design.

These vehicles replace aging Alexander Dennis Enviro400s on 56 (2006) plates drafted in when Stagecoach took over from First Group in 2013.
